For International Bird Day today I picked out Little Birdie by Kmac El Bey to read with my son. This is a children's picture book that tells the story of a little blue bird through verse. This book does a wonderful job of explaining how birds live and how we can learn by their example. The illustrations by Cori M. Bey really bring the story life with color and beauty. I also liked the section for tips for parents on how to get your child excited and engaged in books.

My 2-year-old son loved pointing at the little blue bird on every page along with other characters we meet along the way. The illustrations made it easy for me to explain that the daddy bird gets the food for the baby bird. It also teaches resilience when the birds have their nest blown down by the wind.

I recommend this book for teaching children about birds and other life lessons. I earned bonus points with my son since birds are his favorite animal. This book is also an easy tie-in for activities such as making a bird feeder or going outside and pointing out bird nests in the trees. This book was an easy to read fun favorite for my family!

Because it's my favourite genre. The cover is really beautiful .The cover looks magical and definitely loving it. The writing style is really good. And the narration of this book is just beautiful and it's gonna keep you hooked for sure. Little Birdie is a book for children who are just starting to develop their reading skills. It is a beautiful story about a baby bird expressing its love for life. The main character, Little Birdie, is a representation of how free and happy our beautiful children are. Little Birdie is also a nursery rhyme parents and children can enjoy singing together. The book about the content of the book, being a children's book it is a great read of about 26 pages.Well the story is short and with a really cool plot but the other features are it has a really nice flow for children.

I personally loved reading this book. One of a kind and I enjoyed reading it If you want to know grab your copy and start reading. This book is definitely worth the purchase and worth the read.

I couldn't put it down, and I finished it in one sitting! Bobo The Gazelle is an epic poem about a gazelle born into the wild a runt with all odds against him. He becomes separated from his herd and must go on a journey to discover himself while also enduring through daily hardships of trying to stay alive. This is a sweet and a short book that introduces young kids to be able to think about their future instead of wasting their time on the phone all day. This book will give the children a head start.

This is a must-have book that all the parents should introduce their children to. I highly recommend this. MUST BUY.

Bridget Ball - Bobo is a small, weak gazelle, the runt of his herd with only his mother to stand by him. When his awkwardness causes too much danger the herd banishes him. Through triumph, terror, and tragedy Bobo grows to be strong, wise, and resourceful. He also learns how to make unlikely friends.

Told in beautiful verse, this story is one for all ages. Kmac El Bey has captured a classic in Bobo The Gazelle that should Stand beside stories such as The Lion King and The Jungle Book. You will fall in love with Bobo while making the journey from awkward youth to a strong and wise adult. The theme of it being wise to meet your opponent halfway will stay with you long after you have turned the last page.

I recommend reading this book outside and close to nature. This book is a wonderful way to teach your children to overcome life's obstacles and to be resilient when it isn’t always pleasant. The story also has a wonderful message of peace for everyone.

Emilee Jackson -  A strong tale, written musically, aiming to say, like a poem. This poem narrates the story of a little gazelle named Bobo who makes mistakes and loses the life of three very important people of his life, including her mother who always kept him by her side when everyone else despised him. This led to him thinking of himself as a bad omen and couldn’t give back a good look at himself and his life. We see that Bobo makes himself into an accomplished gazelle and a smart-brained one. He has to live a life of constant fear and fight for his life at every step. To know what happens with him after he has pushed death away a ton of times, read and let’s have a discussion.

This tale is like one of those long, never-ending stories that our grandparents told us when we were kids. This little gazelle, Bobo, has a story to make us go back to our childhood. I’d give this book a five-star rating because I like how it is very apt for all children and gives out the message of courage, fight, struggle, positivity, not giving up in times of hopelessness. Though the poem might prove to be a little long for kids, this is a good lesson in itself. Written in baby steps, this tale is very sweet yet very intellectual for children. Books like this need to increase in number and give readers a good reason to read, not letting them get stuck in fantasies. Moreover, the author has taken utmost care about teaching the kids something other than these ideals as well, that is, by taking the maximum number of animal species into the script. This will also help broaden children’s minds.

I would want the readers to spread this book more and to a wider variety of readers. All types of readers can have access to this book and there is no requirement for defining an age limit to it. Happy reading!

Children are as empty as a mirror when pointed at a white wall, but just as the white wall can be painted with all the millions of colours that the human eye and perception has learnt to recognise, the mirror can do the same, but not by being painted over. Instead by learning from what they see. Therefore children must be gifted the joy of living very early in their joyous little existence. In doing so and presenting all the treasure of the world, the first tool to give to your young child is reading because knowledge is all-encompassing and is the key to survival, essence and a life well ahead of even time. Don't you get frightened by all of what I just said? I was intending to say that reading is probably a gift for which gratitude may never be enough.

And here is a book that shall colour the journey of your child in their first experience with an entity called a book. Essentially a book that contains a poem that tells us about little birdy. I might as well add that the little birdy is as chirpy as it seems from the cover art, probably more so if you get into singing the wonderful stanzas with your children. The vibrant pictures and most ravishing art that has been illustrated for the same are fresh and colourful just like the minds of children. It fills their imagination, piques their curiosity and also gives them the joy of reading.

This book can be a great addition to the nursery and every household that has a toddler prowling over or strolling on their prams. I loved the simplistic approach that the author has gone for and think that it is as adorable in the eyes of children as it is in my adult eyes.
